We are proud to introduce the keynote speakers for the Annual Conference
“We should focus in the short term more on MOOCs than on OER.”
A special Oxford-Style Debate session will be held about the above statement of the standing of MOOCs and business models of openness.

Gala dinner venue announced
The five course Gala Dinner with selected wines will be held at the Pesti Vigado, one of Budapest’s gems, which lies on the World Heritage Site of the Danube embankment.

Budapest University of Technology and Economics
The conference will take place at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. It is situated on the west bank of the Danube, which allows a first-class location as being close to the city center as well as providing all necessary resources. The University was founded in 1782, and it is one of the largest institutions of higher education in Hungary and one of Central Europe’s most important research centres.

Young Scholars Support
We are pleased to announce that EDEN’s support scheme to young scholars will be offered again at the 2016 Annual Conference.
Two young researchers’ attendance at the Conference will be supported with €600 each. The colleagues awarded should have a submission (paper or poster) accepted for presentation at the Conference.
Conference Services for Corporations
Corporate Showcases can be submitted, enabling companies to present recent developments and applications, informing on future directions and showcase their products and services.
